Cmd+K: Go To, Create & Search
Cmd+K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows and Linux) opens one box for getting anywhere in the portal: type a few letters to jump to a page, start something new, or search your records.
New in v4.213.0. Go to and Create are new. Search works as before.
Overview
As you type, matches appear in groups:

The first match is highlighted, so Enter opens it straight away. Use the arrow keys to move to another, and Esc to close.
Opening It
- Press Cmd+K or Ctrl+K on any portal page
- On a phone or small screen, tap Search in the menu
The box reads Search anything, go to a page, or create… (or Search, go to a page, or create… when smart search isn't on).
Cmd+K needs AI Features turned on, as before: Settings → Core Features → AI Features → Enable AI Features. Go to, Create and keyword search all work without the separate smart-search option.
Go To
Go to lists pages from the menus on the page you're on — the sidebar menu and the account menu — that match what you've typed. Up to six appear, each with the hub or menu group it's in underneath (for example Financial, or Account).
- Matches that start with what you typed come first, then pages where every word you typed starts a word of the name, then pages that just contain it.
- Typing a hub name finds the pages in it: financial lists Invoices, Estimates, Orders and the rest.
- Choose a page, or press Enter on it, to go there.
Because the list comes from your own menu, it only offers pages you can open. Hidden pages never appear. See The Hub Menu.
Create
Create offers up to four New … actions that match what you type. Choosing one opens that page with its create form already open.

- Start with new, create or add to put Create first — new inv goes straight to New invoice. Typing just new lists every create action you have.
- If you're already on that page, the form opens without reloading.
- An action only appears when its feature is switched on and the portal has its page.
Search Results
Once you've typed two letters, the portal is searched and matching records appear below Go to and Create, grouped by type. This is the same search as before — see Tags, Search & Filters: Global Search for what it covers.
Go to and Create stay in view while the search runs. No results found only shows once the search has answered and nothing matched at all.
Who Sees What

Go to always follows each person's own menu. The page's own rules still apply after you choose an action: if someone can't create on that page, it opens without the form.
Notes & Gotchas
- Go to only knows pages that are in a menu. A page you've removed from your menu won't appear, even if you can still open it.
- Client users who type new see New ticket, which opens the same form as New request on the client Tickets page.
- With AI Features off, Cmd+K does nothing and the menu has no Search link.
