Downloading a Selection
Handing over ten files used to mean ten downloads. Select them on the resources index and take one zip instead — organized by resource, with a straight answer about anything that could not come along.
Selecting Resources
Hover a card on the resources index and a checkbox appears in its corner. Tick as many as you like and an action bar opens above the grid:
- N selected, with Select All and Clear
- Move to a folder, Tag, Download as zip, and Delete
Selecting requires permission to edit resources. A client viewing a shared library sees the cards, not the checkboxes.
Download as Zip
Click it and you get one archive containing a folder per resource, each named after the resource it came from.
That structure is the point. Two resources can easily hold a file called logo.png, and a flat zip would either overwrite one or silently rename it. Folders keep them apart and keep it obvious which came from where.

What Goes In
Two kinds of resource contribute:

A file too large to package is noted inside the zip rather than dropped without explanation — the same behavior as the Download All button on a single resource.
What Gets Left Out
Articles, FAQs, Colors, Diagrams, Videos and Apps have no file set behind them. There is nothing to put in a zip, so they are left out.
You are told which, and why, before the download starts. A short dialog names them, grouped by reason, and asks you to confirm:
Some were left out — 6 files from 4 of 6 selected. Nothing to download: Red Dot Brand Guidelines, Q3 Launch FAQ.
Confirm and the download begins; cancel and nothing happens. If nothing in your selection has anything to download, it says so instead of handing you an empty archive.
A selection of ten that produces a zip of four is not a fault — it means six of them were articles, colors or diagrams. The dialog is there so a short zip is never a surprise.
Designs With Downloads Switched Off
Web previews, design imports and ad groups each have an Offer the original zip for download switch in edit mode. See Web Preview Resources.
A selection does not get around that switch. A design with downloads turned off is left out of the zip exactly as it is left out of its own page, and it appears in the dialog under Download turned off so you know it was deliberate rather than missing.
What You Can Already See
The zip only ever contains resources you have access to. Client scoping applies to the download exactly as it applies to the library — selecting cannot reach past what the index would show you.
Limits and Waiting
- Up to 100 resources per download. Ask for more and it tells you the number you selected and the ceiling. Split the job.
- Large selections take time. The button reads Zipping… while the archive is built, and stays disabled so a second click cannot start the job twice. Big galleries and design packages are the slow ones.
- The same selection again is quick. A finished archive is kept for a day and reused, so a repeat download does not rebuild it. Add or remove a file on any resource in that selection and the next download rebuilds — you never get a stale zip.
The download arrives as a link, not a stream, so a slow build cannot be cut short by a browser timing out mid-download.
