Account Setup & Login

Get your Client Cove account configured and ready to use. This guide covers account creation, login, profile settings, and security preferences.

Creating Your Account

Your Client Cove account is created when you accept an invitation from your service provider.

  1. Check your email for the Client Cove invitation
  2. Click the invitation link
  3. Fill in your details: full name, email, and password
  4. Agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
  5. Click Create Account

Logging In

To sign in to your Client Cove account:

  1. Visit your portal URL (provided by your service provider)
  2. Enter your email address and password
  3. If you have two-factor authentication enabled, enter your verification code
  4. Click Sign In

Forgot Your Password?

If you have forgotten your password:

  1. Click Forgot Password on the login page
  2. Enter the email address associated with your account
  3. Check your email for a password reset link
  4. Create a new password and confirm it

Password reset links expire after 1 hour for security reasons.

Profile Settings

Customize your profile from the Settings page:

  • Display Name — How others see you in the portal
  • Profile Photo — Upload a photo or avatar
  • Time Zone — Ensures timestamps display correctly for you
  • Language — Choose your preferred display language
  • Email Notifications — Control which events trigger email alerts

To access your profile settings, click your avatar in the top-right corner and select Settings.

Password Management

Keep your account secure by following these password best practices:

  • Use at least 12 characters
  • Include uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols
  • Do not reuse passwords from other services
  • Consider using a password manager

To change your password:

  1. Go to Settings then Security
  2. Click Change Password
  3. Enter your current password, then your new password twice
  4. Click Update Password
